TOTNES U14s put their sickness problems to one side to beat Plymouth Argaum 39-5.

Despite some early pressure from the powerful Argaum pack, Totnes scored first with a try by right-wing Edward Foster.

Totnes controlled the game for the rest of the first half and further tries were scored by No.8 Charlie Life and flanker Tom Dyer.

Conversions by Dyer and Angus Lee gave Totnes a healthy 19-0 lead at half-time.

Playing up hill and into the wind in the second half, it was important that Totnes maintained the pressure. This they did with further tries by Ben Anders, Ben Sampson and a second try by Life. Argaum scored a consolation try in injury time through skipper Carl Turner.
