PLYMOUTH Argaum travelled to leaders Salcombe with a side disrupted by a number of late changes and they were not helped when skipper Josh Theophanides left the field injured before half-time.

Leaders Salcombe led 36-3 at half-time with a Mark O'Kane penalty accounting for Argaum's points.

Argaum battled throughout the game and sustained pressure up the right flank enabled the ball to reach centre John Ekins who ran in to score Argaum's only try midway through the second half.

However, the floodgates opened in the last 10 minutes and Salcombe ran up a score Argaum will learn lessons from.
