Argaum Colts came through in a tense finale to give them their first win over Kingsbridge at this age-group. The home side dominated the opening 20 minutes and after an early Jake Turfrey penalty, prop Dan Smith barged over for a close range try after a clean line-out catch and drive.

Turfrey added the extras and a further penalty before Kingsbridge came back with a score of their own with a hard-earned try in the corner.

After the interval Kinsbridge pressed hard and Argaum spent long periods in their own half. Valiant defending kept out several surges by the visitors before the line was finally breached on two separate occasions. With precious little time left Argaum foucht back well to gain good field position and earned two penalties from Kingsbridge infringements. The first was a little out of range of Turfrey but he made no mistake with the sceond from the 22 metre line to send home supporters home happy.
