As usual it was held the day after the Dinner & Dance and there was much relief to those that had attended that occasion that there was a plentiful supply of players. The seniors were augmented by around a dozen colts and numerous guest players from clubs such as Plym Vic, Torpoint, Ivybridge, OPMs and Old Techs. The match was split into four 20 minute quarters which allowed some respite for those who havent seen a training session for some time. The Captain's side ran out comfortable winners but the Chairman's side managed some decent ries of their own.
The afternoon was a great success with nigh on £300 being raised for Help For Heroes Charity which was largely due to players contributing £5 each as match subs. It was also a great chance for players past and present, young and old to enjoy one last game at the tail end of the season, catch up on old friends and of course down one or two glasses of port.
