Saltash v Plymouth Argaum (30/10/05)
In buoyant mood after good victories over Plymstock and Newton Abbot last week, Plymouth Argaum travelled to Saltash for what turned out to be an exciting encounter. The home team opened the score with a try and conversion after only five minutes, although Argaum responded immediately with an inspired try by their capatin, Sam Russell.

Argaum gradually grew in confidence and took control as the game progressed.  Well deserved tries by William Cox and James Paskins gave Argaum a fairly comfortable 15- 7 lead at the turn.
Saltash, keen to get back into the game, upped the tempo and scored the next try ten minutes into the second half.  Argaum, however, were determined to maintain their lead and domination and responded with an impressive try by winger Alex Stafford. Jack Beresford-Ward increased their lead with a further two tries both converted by Rhys Dimmock-Williams securing victory for the Tigers. Despite some text book cover tackling by full-back Thomas Collier, Saltash bravely rallied back and scored the last try of the match. It was a great team effort by the Tigers who have extend their unbeaten run to 7 matches.
Final Score: Saltash 17 Plymouth Argaum 34
