Tiverton RFC U13 v Plymouth Argaum Tigers U13 : Devon Cup Round 1 (13/11/05)
On a heavy pitch the home team opened the score with a try after only 3 minutes, taking Argaum by surprise.  Forced into action, the Tigers stepped up a gear resulting in an excellent run and try by Jonny Jenkins.

Argaum's confidence grew from then on with some strong rucking and mauling and solid tackles by the forwards, especially by William Cox. Argaum started to pass the ball well, enabling Luke Holman and Jonny Jenkins (after a superb break) to score a try apiece. Good defending by the Tigers prevented a determined Tiverton team from closing the gap, and Argaum completely dominated the game from half-time. Ryan Dingle barged through the Tiverton defence to score another try and Alex Stafford was unstoppable, scoring a hat trick of tries at great speed - one well taken conversion by Rhys Dimmock-Williams. Tiverton responded with an equally brilliant run and try and were desperate to break through. However, it was Argaum's day - and a well deserved victory for the whole team, who now meet Honiton at home in the quarter final.
Final Score: Tiverton 10pts Argaum Tigers 37
