North Tawton had Plymouth Argaum as visitors on Monday. Argaum played one short. Half-time arrived with the score sheet blank. On the resumption the visitors started passing, but Stoneman was safe, and transferred play to the other end. The home team kept up the pressure, and from a line-out Palmer scored, for E. Ford to convert. Ford next scored for the homesters after a breakaway by F. West, but the goal kick failed. North Tawton still pressed, and after a forward rush R. Stoneman scored. From a forward rush Lyddon scored for the visitors and Cleverly converted. W. West next scored for North Tawton. and towards the close he scored again, and Ford converted. North Tawton thus winning by 2 goals 3 tries (19 points) to 1 goal (5 points).
