With forwards and backs combining well in handling moves and loose rushes. Plymouth Argaum , romped home easy winners of an open game at Roborough by three goals and three tries to a try. The sailors lacked experience as a team, but were well represented at fly-half by Organ and by Lee. at wing-three-quarters, who made their only score. Argaum's tries came from Rhodes, Kirk, Wreford, Blackburn and Gilbey. Baker. Dalv and Bennett adding goal points, the last named from a very difficult angle.
