The Hospital suffered a crushing defeat at Roborough, and could only muster a penalty goal in reply to their opponent's formidable total of a goal and 15 tries. Argaum's only weakness lay in goal-kicking, but their superiority in all phases of a one-sided game was undeniable. Rhodes had personal bag of five tries. Others were scored by Douglas (2), Kingwell (2), Pooley (2), Daly, Farren, Blackburn, and Hendy (2). The last-named made one conversion, and Hardy replied for the gallant losers.
