Salcombe Under-11 12pts Argaum Tigers U11 19pts
Plymouth Argaum Tigers U11/U10 deservedly won a well contested game against Salcombe played in perfect conditions at Camperdown Road. Both teams played extremely well with good running and driving pack play which ebbed and flowed in both halves.

Argaum started the stronger playing with the slope but despite being often camped in the Salcombe half were only 7 points up at half time thanks to the effort of hooker Joe Walker. The second half saw Salcombe use the slope well and with a lighter pack used their backs to full potential scoring 2 quick trys to lead 12-7. The Tigers dug deep however and dominated in the pack with man of the match prop Liam Quick driving repeatedly making many hard won yards to put pressure on the Salcombe line up the hill. The Tigers spirits never dropped and all players contributed well with fine tackling and ball retention on both sides. In the last 7 minutes the Tigers greater strength and speed won through with a fine individual try from Kal Bloomfield which he converted the take the lead. The game was finally sealed for Argaum with 2 minutes to go with another fine try from Kal Bloomfield. Players on both teams played commendably throughout.
