This was a superb advert for Under 14 rugby played in perfect conditions at Clifden Park. The vistors made a bright start and opened the scoring through skipper Carl Turner who went over in the corner; this was added to shortly after with a touchdown from wing George Glover who posed a constant threat throughout the match.

The home team roused from their slumbers and answered back with two tries of their own however the first half scoring was completed by Tigers' Solomon Cox with a barnstorming run started from deep within his own half which Haydn Baugh converted. 17-10 up at the break and playing down the slope in the second half it seemed as though it was Argaum's game to lose, however the cornish side dug deep and used the rolling maul to great effect scoring 3 tries, two of them converted. Argaum rallied again and it was Baugh who wriggled over an unconverted score which was immediately answered by Bodmin's 6th and final try, with the extras also added. Argaum had finally got the hang of playing downhill and played some of their best rugby and it was Turner who again crossed the whitewash with Kal Bloomfield converting. There was a desperate scramble in the last play with wing Glover again prominent but when he was bundled in to touch the final whistle sounded from the Argaum official who had deputised when the scheduled ref had not shown up.

Man of match - Forwards - Jake Bond
Backs - George Glover
