Season 1903-04

The season opened on 3rd October against R. N. E. College III, when 'not at full strength, Argaum lost 5-6 and finished one short', the try was scored by Heard, Vincent converting.

Played at Blundell's, Tiverton, in a downpour of rain. The scholars soon attacked through a fine run by Brooks, who picked up in mid-field, outpaced half-a-dozen opponents. arid kicked over Mathison's head. The visitors subsequently dribbled to the homesters end, where Richmond scored. Blundell's showed far better combination than the visitors, and Bryant, after a good run, was pushed into touch near the line. Brooks, however, succeeded making a try after a very pretty run. In the second half Blundell's continued to show good combination, and Brooks and Little were prominent with good runs. Moon for the visitors showed good dribbling, as also did Richmond and Heard. After some even play Lugg kicked a penalty goal for the visitors. Blundell's retaliated with a determined attack, and Little almost scored. Brooks, however, dodged in from a scrum and Chesney goaled.
