Plymouth Argaum Chiefs 10 OPOs 29
(16th September 2000, k.o. 15:00 Bickleigh Down Road)
For the second week running the Chiefs were left rueing missed opportunities in what was an evenly-matched opening league encounter.
Prince Rock/Woodland Fort 12 Plymouth Argaum Chiefs 0
(9th September 2000, k.o. 15:00 Bull Point)
An early exit from the Tetley Bitter Vase but the Chiefs were left wondering what might have been had they captialised on a sustained period of first half pressure.
Plymouth Argaum Tigers 36 OPMs III 15
(9th September 2000, k.o. 15:00 Bickleigh Down Road)
Playing down the slope first half the tigers started well but soon let their organisation and discipline slip, and for a good 20 minutes things were looking pretty ragged.
Plymouth Argaum Club XV 20 St Boniface Old Boys 75
(3rd September 2000, k.o. 11:30 Bickleigh Down Road)
From an Argaum point of view probably the least said about this game the better!
Plymouth Argaum Tigers 7 Plympton Victoria 41
(2nd September 2000, k.o. 15:00, Bickleigh Down Road)
Three new faces made their argaum debut; Steve Covel (hooker), Terry Saliba and Dan Storer (wingers) and a few faces who we haven't seen all summer (Dave Parmenter, Kevin Quigley and Phil Hall) started off the season in a game which didn't go quite to plan but did show promise for the coming months (Plym Vic put more than 80 points past us on their last visit to Bickleigh Down!).
