Plymstock 25 Argaum Colts 11
Argaum produced a fine second half fightback in this passionate and at times bruising local derby. Argaum were caught defending too narrow on a number of occasions in the first half which allowed the experienced home side to run in 4 tries one of which was converted.
Argaum U15 19 Saltash 22
These two local rivals served up a thrilling contest to warm up the spectators on a bitterly cold but sunny morning at Bickleigh Down. The home side, with some confidence after winning their last outing at Lankelly-Fowey started brightly up the hill and opened the scoring when prop Liam Quick powered his way over from a tap penalty. Saltash played with a lot of width in their game and used their speedy backs to great effect to allow Doug Shirley to go over for the equalising try. Argaum's defence held up firm to further Saltash attacks and on the stroke of half time captain Carl Turner put his side back in the lead after good forward continuity and Alex Coutts converted to make the interval score 12-5 to the hosts.
Lankelly-Fowey U15s 22 Plymouth Argaum 24
A glorious day in Cornwall saw 2 determined sides battling each other for territory in a very well contested game. Plymouth Argaum started off the scoring with some determined running by the captain Carl Turner through the middle of the pitch and were rewarded a try converted by Alex Coutts. Unfortunately Turner was then forced to go off due to illness.
Weekend Results 23/01/10

The Colts impressive form continued with a hard fought 7-7 draw at home to Newton Abbot, the Argaum try came from Ryan Phillips with Jake Turfrey converting.

Plymouth Argaum Colts managed to reverse an early season defeat with this gritty display against Paignton at a windswept Bickleigh Down.

ARGAUM slipped up in the race for the play-offs at lowly Dartmouth on a day when if anything could go wrong, it did.

PLYMOUTH Argaum's relentless pursuit of a play-off spot continued with a hard-fought victory over bottom outfit Plympton Victoria at Marsh Mills. Argaum captain Josh Theophanides opened the game with a deft break which allowed veteran winger Darren Wills to go over for his first try of the match.
Chiefs 7 St Columba & Torpoint 6
The torrential rain was the biggest talking point of a first half that saw the East Cornish side go in 6-0 up courtesy of 2 Ben Hobbs penalties. Bemusingly, Argaum insisted on attempting to play a 15 man game to no avail, whilst St Columba concentrated on the kick and chase which regularly won them territory.
Teignmouth Colts 0 Argaum 22
A great team performance from the colts in atrocious weather conditions today at Teignmouth. Two tries apiece from Jake Turfrey and Dan Smith secured this Devon Merit Table victory. A fuller report to follow.
Wanderers 24 DHSOB Wizards 10
The Wanderers kept up their 50% record with a second win of the season over DHSOB's second string. A game which earmarked club stalwart Andy Critchley's 40th birthday, saw appearances by Phil and Danny Morgan, along with Paul Critchley to spice things up in the backs.
