When Argaum get their act together and play as a team they are more than a match for anyone in this league and this proved the case yesterday. On a beautiful winter's afternoon at Bickleigh the Chiefs systematically took apart their opponents to win by a very comfortable margin and probably felt they could have scored more.

On the resumption the visitors started passing, but Stoneman was safe, and transferred play to the other end. The home team kept up the pressure, and from a line-out Palmer scored, for E. Ford to convert. Ford next scored for the homesters after a breakaway by F. West, but the goal kick failed. North Tawton still pressed, and after a forward rush R. Stoneman scored. From a forward rush Lyddon scored for the visitors and Cleverly converted. W. West next scored for North Tawton. and towards the close he scored again, and Ford converted. North Tawton thus winning by 2 goals 3 tries (19 points) to 1 goal (5 points).
