Colts 7 Liskeard 10
The Colts produced their best performance of the season against Liskeard at Bickleigh down yesterday and were close to gaining their first victory. The collaboration between Argaum and Saltash has proved more than worthwhile and the hard work put in during combined training sessions is starting to bear fruit.

An All-Argaum Affair
There was a very rare occasion on Sunday of all Plymouth Argaum competitive match when Plymouth Argaum 'A' took on Plymouth Argaum 'B' in the Cornwall Clubs Colts Sevens. In what was a beautiful day at Launceston Argaum fielded two sides against clubs from all over Cornwall and Devon.

In a classic game of two halves, Argaum survived a spirited second half comeback to win by two points. The game was dictated by the Chapel Field slope and blustery wind which made it difficult for however was playing up the slope.
Argaum Colts 16 Kingsbridge 15
Argaum Colts came through in a tense finale to give them their first win over Kingsbridge at this age-group. The home side dominated the opening 20 minutes and after an early Jake Turfrey penalty, prop Dan Smith barged over for a close range try after a clean line-out catch and drive.
Totnes 19 Argaum Colts 23
This was the 3rd meeting between these two young colts sides with the spoils of the two previous encounters having been shared. Argaum started slowly and were guilty of allowing the ball to bounce on the hard surface which led directly to two home tries, both of which were converted.
Plymstock 25 Argaum Colts 11
Argaum produced a fine second half fightback in this passionate and at times bruising local derby. Argaum were caught defending too narrow on a number of occasions in the first half which allowed the experienced home side to run in 4 tries one of which was converted.
Weekend Results 23/01/10

The Colts impressive form continued with a hard fought 7-7 draw at home to Newton Abbot, the Argaum try came from Ryan Phillips with Jake Turfrey converting.
